| Due to climate change, forests are likely to face new hazards, which may require adaptation of our existing silvicultural practices. However, it is difficult to imagine a forest management approach that can simultaneously minimize all risks of damage. Multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) has been developed to help decision makers choose between actions that require reaching a compromise among criteria of different weights. | O manejo florestal em florestas primárias na Amazônia é, na maioria das vezes, limitado a sistemas silviculturais baseados no diâmetro mínimo de corte (DMC) e na extração de um número relativamente pequeno de espécies, reduzindo a população de árvores comerciais. A utilização de técnicas de impacto reduzido minimiza os impactos da extração, mas não necessariamente melhoram as baixas taxas de crescimento apresentadas por muitas espécies comerciais, nem asseguram o retorno dos volumes explorados para o próximo ciclo de corte. | This study develops methods of estimating annual marketings by members of forestry cooperatives in order to formulate a long range business plan for the cooperative. A reliable prediction of total annual sales by the cooperative is possible, but individual product estimates are subject to significant errors. The report details cautions concerning the development and implementation of projections and makes specific recommendations. The system also permitted estimation of landowner service needs. |

| Cerdocyon thous (Linnaeus, 1766) is the most widespread neotropical canid, most commonly inhabiting forested areas. This animal is a generalist omnivore that is able to use environments disturbed by human activities. The aim of this study was to describe its diet through the stomach content analysis of 30 samples obtained from specimens that were run over in a mosaic composed by Araucaria Pine Forest, Semidecidual Seasonal Forest, natural grasslands, and exotic vegetation. The items were quantified by frequency of occurrence (F.O.) and percentage of occurrence (P.O.). A total of 64 food items were found among 171 occurrences. | ABSTRACT The selection of yerba mate superior genotypes, based on each plant leaf weight, is based on genetic parameters obtained from experimental plantations and it is practically impossible from the fourth year of age. Therefore, we estimate genetic parameters and check the feasibility of selection through notes and weight estimates of each tree at 18.5 years of age. The genetic material consists of a combined trial of provenances and progenies of half-sibs with 140 progenies from 7 provenances, installed in Ivaí, Paraná, Brazil, in a randomized block design with 10 repetitions. | O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar a qualidade de mudas de moringa em função da posição das sementes no fruto e da concentração de nutrientes na solução de fertirrigação. Realizou-se um experimento seguindo o delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com os tratamentos arranjados em esquema fatorial 3 x 4, sendo três posições de sementes no fruto (basal, mediana e apical) e quatro doses de nutrientes (0, 50, 100 e 150% da dose padrão), com quatro repetições.
